The New England Jewish Labor Committee is partnering with students and campus organizations at universities in the Boston area for a new educational initiative called “Jews and the Labor Movement.” This initiative hopes to build communities of young Jews around shared exploration of Jewish links to social justice. More specifically, it engages young Jews in histories of Judaism and the labor movement, with the goal of empowering them to get involved with local labor activism.
The initiative is made up of series of programs, planned and run by NE JLC staff and student fellows.
We currently have Campus Initiative fellows at Harvard and Tufts. We are looking to expand to the Brandeis and Boston University campuses. Please contact Jenna at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information or to get involved.
