Wage Justice! the Jewish fight for One Fair Wage - Workshop with Kavod

Join us during the Kavod retreat for a workshop on One Fair Wage!

We are excited and honored to be part of this year’s Kavod community retreat. We will be leading a workshop 5:30-6:30 on Saturday.

In Massachusetts, tipped workers make only $5.55 an hour compared to the standard minimum wage of $13.50 an hour. Join us to learn about how this two-tiered wage system was created and what we can do to end it. The Jewish Labor Committee has been working with Kavod on the One Fair Wage campaign to end tipped subminimum wage and support workers in creating safer, less discriminatory workplaces through creating fair wages. In this workshop, we'll not only discuss the campaign, but take action on it! Come ready to fight for economic justice!
