More information about the 25th Annual Labor Seder will be coming soon. Contact us with any questions!

Tickets are almost gone for our 24th Annual Labor Seder! See you on
April 7th, 2024 at Temple Israel of Boston!

Join the New England Jewish Labor Committee for our 24th Annual Labor Seder! We are excited to continue our tradition of bringing Labor and Jewish Community together through this unique interfaith and inter-community awards dinner that ties the story and ritual of Passover to contemporary labor struggles.

This year we honor Rabbi Barbara Penzner of Temple Hillel B’nai Torah in recognition of her retirement after many years of bold, inspiring, and justice-oriented leadership, and in gratitude for her ongoing dedication and support of the NEJLC.

We also honor Lou Antonellis, Business Manager of Local 103, IBEW, AFL-CIO. Lou's leadership in diversifying the building trades and his pursuit of improving the wages and working conditions of electrical workers in New England exemplifies the new generation of labor leadership in the Boston area.

The NEJLC is proud to announce our Bread and Roses Awardees: Andover Educators Association (MTA), Newton Teachers Association (MTA), and SAG-AFTRA New England! We honor these courageous rank-and-file workers for their bravery and commitment to a better world for all workers through a workplace action such as a strike.

Please reach out with any questions by email to NewEnglandJLC@jewishlabor.org. We look forward to seeing on April 7th!

In honor of our national organization’s 90th anniversary, we have introduced a new sponsorship level, Tzadik Sponsorship
.
In mystical Jewish numerology, the letter Tzadik ( צ ) represents the number 90. Further, the Hebrew word “Tzadik” ( צדיק )
refers to a righteous person, or righteousness. We thought this momentous anniversary deserved a righteous recognition.

All sponsorship level include additional promotion, an ad in our haggadah, and tickets to the Labor Seder.
Bronze sponsorships and higher will receive additional recognition and a gift.

If you have already purchased your tickets or table, we will have your name on a list at the registration table. If you reserved a table, please send us a list of the people joining you so we can ensure you are seated together.
